What's New at Nelson Manufacturing Company

Nelson Manufacturing Company of Ottawa, Ohio displayed at ConExpo/Con-Agg for the first time in its 64 year history. Nelson, a leading supplier of custom designed and built transportation solutions showcased a boom launch trailer, double drop trailer and crane boom carrier.

 

The Nelson boom launch trailer eliminates the need to have an assist crane on the jobsite to install or remove boom sections from large hydraulic cranes. With the Nelson boom launch trailer the hydraulic boom lift and travel mechanism can swiftly and safely “launch” the crane boom.

 

Nelson displayed a “low rider” double drop trailer with an adjustable deck height. The deck can be mechanically adjusted down to as low as 12” while maintaining a 6” ground clearance. Also on display was a spread axle crane boom dolly for the new Link-Belt ATC3275 crane. Nelson designs and builds boom dollies to fit nearly every crane sold in North America.
